Simply Earth March Recipe Box

The March Recipe Box was one I was super excited for as the theme was Face Care. The recipes for march included Exfoliating Face Wash, Gentle Face Cleanser, Beatify Roll-On, Beauty Within Toner, and Pore Clarifying Face Mask. I have to say I do love most of these recipes and tried them almost immediately! The oils included in this months box are Coriander, Tea Tree, Beauty Within Blend, and Lemon Eucalyptus. The extras included are Witch Hazel, Rose Kaolin Clay, and Face Wash Powder.

Here is the breakdown of the oils and the Uses and Benefits:

Exfoliating Face Wash

This so far has been my absolute favorite recipe I’ve made so far. My daughter and I tested this out and its absolutely perfect. It has that perfect exfoliating feel and leaves your face feeling clean and deliciously smooth! The ingredients are the Simply Earth Face Wash Powder, rose kaolin clay, almond oil, tea tree essential oil, and a small container. Best part of this box, is that everything is simply mix together! No heating up required! To use you just put some in your hand, add a bit of water, and rub on your face. Its amazing.

Gentle Face Cleanser

This recipe class for the Simply Earth face wash powder, almond oil, Beauty Within Essential Oil Blend, and a small container. As with the last one you simply combine ingredients in the container and vuala, you have a face cleanser. As with the exfoliating cleanser this one ends up a powder, all you do is put some in your hand and add water. Instead of the rough feeling of the exfoliating cleanser this one is more smooth but still leaves you feeling clean and soft.

Beautify Roll-On

This recipe calls for Tea Tree Essential Oil, Beauty Within Essential Oil Blend, Coriander Essential Oil, and fractionated coconut oil. Put all the ingredients in the roll-on bottle and apply to blemishes! Helps to reduce the appearance of blemishes.

Beauty Within Toner

This toner uses the ever popular Witch Hazel for its base with a combination of Beauty Within Essential Oil Blend, Tea Tree Essential Oil, and almond oil. The one complaint I have about the toner is that its a bit oily for a toner. You don’t want it to leave you dried out but you don’t want it to leave you feeling oily either. Maybe blending it with only 1 teaspoon instead of 2 will help.

Pore Clarifying Face Mask

Ok this recipe did not turn out well for me. I couldn’t get the right consistency. For this recipe you need the rose kaolin clay, witch hazel, almond oil, and lemon eucalyptus essential oil. Again its as simple as mixing the ingredients together but you need to get it to a good, spreadable consistency. I do not believe I did this correctly. When I applied it did not apply well at all and I struggled with keeping it on while I tried to apply more. It kept wanting to come off when I applied more to my face. Kind of a pain in the booty. But the smell was great and it did leave my face feeling fresh and smooth.

Spring Rain Diffuser Blend

I love love love this diffuser blend! It really does smell like spring rain. There is definitely a heavy lemon smell but mixed with everything else it is a very fresh scent! The ingredients are Beauty Within Essential Oil Blend, Coriander Essential Oil, and Lemon Eucalyptus Essential Oil. It smells glorious!
